The government forces backed with Arab coalition aircrafts took control of new positions today in the Khadir district in Taiz province, southwestern Yemen.
A military source told Almasdaronline that the government forces liberated on Friday Al-Sahi region after fierce fighting with the Houthi militias, stressing that they intent continued advance towards al Rahida district.
Coalition aircrafts also launched three strikes against the Houthi militia positions in al-Sahi before it was liberated, and a fourth raid on a military vehicle carrying ammunition. The raids killed and wounded several militias.
It is noteworthy that the government forces have taken control over the past days of "Krdov" and "Alruzmah" and "Sevan" and "Almadrasa" and other mountainous sites in Khadir district after they managed to defeat the Houthis from al Shuraja area.
At the same time, the government forces repulsed the Houthi militias attacks on their positions in Halajim, Najd Al Wazaf, Najd Arbab, Sintral Anafat, Al Falah School, Al-Hamra hill and Najd Al Jader.
